SPANCAN
Spancan is a purchasing group in the home improvement and home equipment sector, bringing together a network of members across Canada, including BMR and Kent.
Created in 1999, the group has become the largest of its kind, representing independent companies specializing in the distribution and retail sale of hardware and home equipment.
Its three members—ILDC, Federated Cooperatives Ltd., and Timber Mart—have more than 1,200 retail locations and reported sales of C$9.3 billion.
