JUMBO is Switzerland's leading DIY store chain with 124 outlets across the country. Its headquarters are in Dietlikon, in the canton of Zurich.
It currently employs over 3,500 people. Its product range includes around 75,000 items in-store, with even more available online.
The size of its stores varies from compact city-center formats to large DIY stores in urban areas.
JUMBO is a division of Coop Cooperative with its own brand identity. In 2021, Coop acquired JUMBO from Maus Frères SA and merged it with its DIY brand Coop Brico + Bau + Hobbi in 2022. JUMBO, which emerged from these two leading DIY store chains in Switzerland, is now the undisputed market leader.

JUMBO is founded as a chain of food hypermarkets.
1976
Coop launches its own DIY brand.

JUMBO's DIY division is created.
